Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions describe the general terms applicable to the use of the SOSA website, events, consulting services, coaching, training and related experiences.
Last updated: August 2026
1. About SOSA
SOSA Consulting & Services provides professional consulting, coaching, corporate training, networking experiences, community activities and related services.
By accessing this website, registering for an event, purchasing a service or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and any additional terms presented for a specific service or event.
2. Eligibility and Registration
Participants must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an event or requesting a service.
SOSA may require verification of registration details, identity, payment information or other information where reasonably necessary for event security, fraud prevention or service delivery.
Event participation is subject to availability and any eligibility requirements stated on the relevant event page.
3. Event Registration and Payment
Event prices, registration requirements and payment instructions will be displayed for the applicable event or booking.
A registration is considered confirmed only after the required registration and payment process has been successfully completed and, where applicable, verified by SOSA.
Participants should retain payment confirmations and booking information until their participation has been confirmed.
4. Event Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time of an event are not eligible for a refund.
Where an eligible cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event start time, the applicable refund will be processed according to the event's stated cancellation terms and payment method.
Refund eligibility may be subject to verification of the booking, payment and cancellation request.
Where applicable, SOSA may offer event credit as an alternative to a monetary refund, allowing the participant to use the credit toward a future eligible SOSA event.
5. Event Cancellation or Postponement by SOSA
If SOSA cancels an event, eligible participants may receive a full refund or, where offered, choose to use the amount as credit toward a future eligible SOSA event.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, SOSA may provide participants with the option to attend the revised event or receive an applicable refund or credit, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.
Any refund or credit process will be communicated to affected participants.
6. Ticket Transfers
Event registrations are not automatically transferable.
A participant may request to transfer a registration to another person, but the transfer is permitted only after verification and approval by SOSA.
The replacement participant may be required to provide the information necessary to complete the verification process.
SOSA reserves the right to refuse a transfer where verification requirements, event capacity, security considerations or other legitimate requirements are not satisfied.
7. Consulting, Coaching and Training Services
Consulting, coaching and training engagements are provided according to the agreed scope, schedule and deliverables.
Fees for consulting, coaching or training services are generally non-refundable once the service has started.
Refund requests relating to consulting, coaching or training services may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances, agreed scope and work already delivered.
Any specific engagement terms agreed with a client will take precedence over general descriptions on this website where legally permissible.
8. Service Availability and Changes
SOSA may modify, reschedule, suspend or discontinue an event, service, program, venue or schedule where reasonably necessary.
Event details such as venue, timing, speakers, activities or format may change. Where a material change affects a participant's booking, SOSA will make reasonable efforts to communicate the change.
9. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally toward other participants, staff, speakers, partners and venue personnel.
SOSA may refuse or terminate participation where a person's conduct creates a safety, security, harassment, disruption or other legitimate concern.
Any action taken under this section will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the event.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, text, graphics, designs, materials and other intellectual property made available by SOSA remain the property of SOSA or its respective licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit SOSA materials without appropriate authorization.
11. Photography, Video and Event Content
SOSA may photograph or record events for legitimate documentation, promotional, marketing or community purposes where permitted by applicable law and appropriate notices or consents.
Where a specific event provides a separate photography, video or media consent process, that process will apply.
Participants may contact SOSA if they have a specific concern regarding identifiable media in which they appear.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to third-party platforms or services, including payment providers, social networks, communication platforms and event-related services.
SOSA is not responsible for the independent policies, availability or practices of third-party services. Users should review the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies.
13. Payments and Payment Verification
Where payment verification is required, SOSA may request appropriate payment or transaction information to confirm a booking.
Participants must not submit fraudulent, altered or misleading payment evidence.
Suspected fraudulent transactions or misuse of the registration system may result in cancellation of a booking and may be referred to the appropriate authorities where necessary.
14. Privacy and Personal Information
SOSA may collect and process personal information necessary to provide services, process registrations, communicate with participants, maintain records, prevent fraud and meet legal or operational requirements.
Personal information will be handled according to the SOSA Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.
15. Disclaimers
SOSA aims to provide professional, accurate and useful information and services but does not guarantee any particular career, business, financial, employment or networking outcome unless expressly agreed in writing.
Participation in a networking event, coaching program, training session or consulting engagement does not guarantee employment, business opportunities, investment returns, introductions or any specific result.
16. Limitation of Responsibility
SOSA will take reasonable steps to provide services and experiences as described. However, SOSA is not responsible for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including third-party service failures, venue issues, technical outages, government restrictions, natural events or other force majeure circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right, remedy, liability or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
